Spa and Yoga
The peaceful seclusion of Cotton Tree Lodge creates a perfect spa venue in Belize. We will work with you to customize the perfect balance of practice, relaxation and exploration.
We offer free yoga 7am to 8am Tuesday through Friday in the Gazebo.
We have also custom built the entire top floor of our Garden Vista building for yoga. The space is constructed with all-natural materials and has a grand view over the entire valley. It is available for guest use 24/7. Authentic Mexican blankets and locally made blocks and straps are provided.

An integrated combination of a variety of techniques, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Reflexology; intuitively tailored to your specific needs to maximize therapeutic benefit with a consultation on personalized stretching/exercises you can do at home to increase flexibility, improve resistance to injury, and promote self-healing.
Thai Yoga Massage
A unique blend of acupressure massage and assisted yoga postures on a cushion to gently stretch muscles and facilitate deep relaxation; no previous experience necessary.
Deep Tissue Therapeutic Massage
Moderate-to-deep pressure to release muscle tension, relieve pain, and remove spasms from over-exertion, stress, and/or sports injuries: you tell us how deep you prefer the pressure … Our staff is fully trained, and they know how to go deep!
Nurturing Earth Yoga
Restorative, nurturing, gentle, and slow-paced, this sequence emphasizes grounding through a solid foundation in supported supine and seated postures.
Benefits: Improves flexibility, relieves muscular and emotional tension, and relaxes the body. (Also known as Gentle Yoga or Hatha Yoga).
Purifying Water Yoga
A continuous, steady flow with the rhythm of breath, this sequence emphasizes meditative awareness of the body-mind connection by attuning to the emotions connected to each posture.
Benefits: Cleanses the internal organs, flushes toxins from the body, and lubricates the joints. (Also known as Vinyasa Yoga or Flow Yoga).
Energizing Fire Yoga
A more rigorous, cardiovascular workout, this sequence activates core muscles, bringing heat the to the body from the inside out.
Benefits: Strengthens and tones muscle tissue, improves lung capacity, and energizes the body. (Also known as Power Yoga or Core Yoga).
Rejuvenating Air Yoga
Breathing exercises (pranayama) are included in all classes as a means of deepening and maximizing the benefits of each yoga posture.
Benefits: Balances the nervous system and rejuvenates the body and mind.
